Another interesting discovery. something to do with blocking the hormone leptin has some effect on stopping multiple sclerosis. I wonder if this will have any connection to the Swank diet, which advocates extreme low fat. I am very interested in dietary treatments for MS, and I wonder (well, not really) why no one has ever done a serious clinical study of diet in MS treatment. If I had a million dollars, that is something I’d consider spending it on.
Hmmm, a few million. That might get you the staff for a few months and the ground-work laid for the study. Research is really quite expensive these days.
I am on the same path. I have stopped consuming dairy and I felt better fairly soon afterward. It is also one of the things his diet says to stay clear of. Good luck.
