green stuff

one of the perks of my new job is plenty of time to read blogs (i’m stuck at my desk all day in front of a computer), one of which is treehugger, who today mentioned green as a thistle, about a woman who is making one small change to her life every day in an effort to reduce her impact on the earth. in light of the news that this has been the warmest winter in 100 years, global warming or not, it is hard to refute the idea that our consumption of resources and the resultant pollution created in making/distributing all the stuff we use up adds to the burden on the planet. which is, after all, a closed system, and can only take so much abuse.

anywho, i thought green as a thistle was very inspiring. the idea that changes to our lives can be accomplished in very small steps can apply to a lot of aspects of daily life, and make those changes easier to take on.

  1. Hey there,

Thanks for coming to visit my site — you’ve got a great blog yourself! Equally as inspiring, I think.

    All the best,
