dateline:1827 – seems beethoven (made famous by “a clockwork orange”)was poisoned by his doctor, who was treating him for some sort of abdominal disorder. apparently, the good doctor punctured ludwig’s abdomen, and sealed him back up with a lead-based poultice. back then, who knew? i wonder how many of us (not just as ms people) will be finished off by well-meaning doctors employing “perfectly safe” technology that turn out to be horribly toxic.

Science is a bit more cautious these days, I’m hoping. We actually TEST the damn stuff before using drywall spackle to seal up wounds. Yes, yes … poor rats and rabbits.
