where are you going?

warning: this might be a little heavy for a monday morning, but i plan to file this away for reading later, when i get home.

If you don’t know what you want, you won’t know when you’ve gotten it.” got my head working. i truly believe in the one-step-at-a-time, what one thing can i do today to move me toward where i want to be. i read a book many years ago called “unjobbing,” that asked if what you are doing with your 9-5 isn’t in line with your spiritual principles, why are you doing it? difficult question. but finding one small thing i can do today makes those sorts of questions easier to deal with. those of us who might be dealing with reduced options can do well to consider the bigger picture – where do i want to eventually get to – and then break it down to baby steps.

go have another cup of coffee, and let this percolate.
